The Financial Management module is meticulously crafted to impart learners with a holistic understanding of financial management's pivotal role in organizational sustainability and global economic contexts. This module delves into the essentials of strategic financial decision-making, underscored by the role and objective of financial management within the broader canvas of the international economy.
Learners will explore the influence of global economic dynamics on financial management, the importance of sustainable working capital management, and the evaluation of investments, considering not only financial returns but also their environmental and social impact.
The unit also examines diverse sources of business finance, including those promoting sustainable business practices, and extends to the valuation of businesses and assets through a lens that includes their sustainability credentials.
Furthermore, the curriculum encompasses risk management techniques with an emphasis on identifying and mitigating risks associated with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
