Course Overview

This component is designed to impart a foundational understanding of Cloud Computing. Participants will identify the building blocks of Cloud Computing, examining essential characteristics and distinct service models while discerning the nuances that set these models apart. Additionally, the curriculum will foster an appreciation for concepts such as resource pooling and virtualization in the Cloud. Participants will also explore various deployment models in cloud computing, drawing comparisons to traditional IT deployment models to enhance comprehension.

  • Students must be in possession of a minimum MQF Level 4 full qualification or higher related to Software Design, IT, or Computing
  • While not mandatory, any relevant experience in IT, software development, or related areas will be considered a benefit.
  • A demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and software design, along with a commitment to successfully completing the programme.
  • In the case of international students, where English is not an official language, students need to demonstrate proficiency in the English language through IELTS (Score: 6.0) (International English Language Testing System) or equivalent.
