This unit aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of advanced machine learning paradigms, focusing specifically on deep learning and reinforcement learning. The course is designed to cover the theoretical foundations, practical implementations, and real-world applications of these advanced techniques. Students will explore the intricacies of supervised and unsupervised learning, delve into the nuances of neural network architectures, and understand the algorithms that drive reinforcement learning.
The curriculum emphasizes the application of these advanced techniques in specialized fields such as robotics, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and bioinformatics. By the end of this unit, students will be proficient in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex machine-learning models.
