Course Overview

1st Year - OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology

The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Information Technology consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

2nd Year - Progression to MQF Level 6 Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Software Design with Artificial Intelligence Cloud Computing

Students progress to the MQF Level 6 BSc in Software Design with Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing, comprising 180 ECTS. The programme develops expertise in software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and cloud computing. Duration: 36 months (3 years), subject to change.

Assessment methods vary according to the mode of delivery:

  • Face-to-Face: Research projects, case studies, presentations and practical exercises completed individually or in groups.
  • Blended (80% Online, 20% Face-to-Face): Online collaboration, research assignments, multimedia presentations and classroom-based activities.
  • Fully Online: Digital submissions including research papers, online discussions, case studies, portfolios and multimedia projects.

International students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency through IELTS (minimum score of 6.0) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
