The Childcare Educator gains an understanding of the transformative potential that arises when educators and parents work together in a partnership characterized by mutual respect.

Participants delve into the nuances of acknowledging, respecting, and supporting the profound interest and rights of parents in actively participating in their children’s well-being, learning, and development within Early Childhood Education and Care services.

The module provides educators with the skills and knowledge to establish and nurture meaningful relationships with parents, creating a collaborative environment that ultimately benefits the child's holistic growth and development. This module serves as a cornerstone in fostering a culture of partnership, respect, and shared responsibility between educators and parents.

In order to be eligible to follow this programme of study, learners must be in possession of:

  1. Maltese, English, Mathematics and another subject at SEC level.
  2. Proficient in English.
  3. Clean Police Conduct.
  4. Minimum 18 years at the start of the programme of study.
