Course Overview

This programme of study has been designed to provide learners with the neccessary skills, knowledge and competences to work effectively as a child-carer. Moreover, this programme has been designed specifically on the National Occupational Standards issued by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.

Upon successful completion of this programme, learners shall be able to provide children with effective quality education and care. The modules have been specifically desined to cover the requirements set out by MFHEA in the NOSs for Level 4 Child-Carer.

In order to be eligible to follow this programme of study, learners must be in possession of:

  1. Maltese, English, Mathematics and another subject at SEC level.
  2. Proficient in English.
  3. Clean Police Conduct.
  4. Minimum 18 years at the start of the programme of study.
