Through this process, they identify their strengths and formulate plans for change aimed at fostering improvement. Participants learn to engage in purposeful self-assessment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the childcare setting.

Moreover, the module underscores the active participation of the Childcare Educator in ongoing professional development opportunities. This commitment ensures that their dispositions, knowledge, and skills remain in alignment with the evolving knowledge base of the profession. Participants gain insight into the various avenues for professional growth and engage in activities that enhance their expertise and efficacy in the field of early childhood education.

This module is designed to equip educators with the tools and mindset necessary for sustained excellence in their practice.

In order to be eligible to follow this programme of study, learners must be in possession of:

  1. Maltese, English, Mathematics and another subject at SEC level.
  2. Proficient in English.
  3. Clean Police Conduct.
  4. Minimum 18 years at the start of the programme of study.
